Natural Eye, Face Contouring, and Bold Lip

After over a year of being out of commission, my digital camera is finally up and running! 🙂 No more webcam make-up pictures, hooray! Ironically enough, after taking a few photos of my make-up today, the flash washed out a lot of the shadowing, so I still took a picture with my webcam because it picked up on the definition of the contouring a little better. Regardless, I’m super excited to have my camera back.

Anyway, today I had the day off while my boyfriend was working all day and my son was at school so I decided it was the perfect opportunity to mess around with my make-up. After all, I haven’t really had time to play for a while now. Lately I’ve been watching tons of YouTube video tutorials, many of which are on the fast-growing trend of contouring your face with make-up. I’ve contoured before (not on a regular basis, and very lightly) but I really wanted to get in there with darker shades for a real result, and since I didn’t have anywhere to be and therefore didn’t have to worry about it turning out completely outrageous, I went for it! The top picture (obviously) was the picture I took with my digital camera. My contouring lines, brows, and even blush appear much darker in real life. The second photo taken with my webcam defines the shadows and highlights I created a little better. Everything I used is below the pictures. I really can’t wait to mess around with this more!
