Urban Decay Naked Palette Review

21 Mar

Even though I am well known for getting crazy and colorful with my eye make-up, I am absolutely obsessed with my Urban Decay Naked Palette! It came out about a year or two ago (?) and let me tell you- it was sold out nearly everywhere it was available! This is how popular it is! Luckily, Urban Decay got the memo and now you can find it most places that sell their products. It is seriously a staple item for all women, whether you collect make-up like me, or just have the bare minimum. It comes with 12 gorgeous neutral eye shadows ranging from light to dark. Most of them are frosty/metallic, with a few being matte/satin finishes. Some of the colors are permanent Urban Decay shades, while 5 are limited edition. It also comes with a deluxe size eye shadow primer potion, and an eye shadow brush. When it was originally released it came with a duel sided 24/7 eye liner pencil in Zero (black) and Whiskey (brown) but for easier production they replaced it with the brush.

I find myself using it pretty much everyday, even if my overall look consists of other colors. The first shade, Virgin, is an excellent high light for right below the brow. I also use one of the matte shades, Buck, to fill in my brows. The other matte shade, Naked, is a light brown/tan shade that is perfect if you want to do a naked eye with just some subtle color. Those are the 3 shades I find myself using the most, as you’ll be able to clearly see in my picture. 😛 The palette generally retails for about $48, and is definitely worth every penny in my opinion. I highly recommend investing in this palette! It’s perfect whether you’re going for a subtle, simple, work-friendly look, as well as for the most dramatic smokey eye! Check out my photos and swatches below! (Sorry, the quality isn’t very good!)
